A staircase and balustrade for a private residence in east London. Continuous lines of oak thread their way from ground floor to first floor ceiling. This balustrade appears to shutter light, casting shadows against white walls, and appearing as a tonally varied stripes.  Clean lined, square edged geometry is offset by the warmth and character of natural oak wood.
